After having my son almost a year ago I made a real effort to get out and about – brisk walks in the fresh air was good for both me & my baby. I have always been keen on health and fitness – I am a qualified fitness instructor and wanted to do something that involved my baby too. Being outdoors with my son, friends and their children felt good, I didn't want to sit around drinking coffee and eating biscuits too much! And it is easier than trying to arrange babysitters when going to a gym class. The Buggy fit programme was an obvious fit for me and something I am keen to pass onto other new mums.
I have added to my experience as a fitness instructor with additional training in activities suitable for pre and post natal women. This means that you can be reassured that anything I ask you to do in a session will be safe for both you and your baby. As a new mum I know what hurts and I know were the problem areas are too! I have been there! The Buggyfit programme is great for developing all round fitness and we do different activities to target specific areas.
My classes take place in the nicest locations in Barnsley – great places but with areas to offer enough of a challenge. As a new mum myself I found it hard to find activities for me and my baby to do in Barnsley – so becoming a Buggyfit trainer and offering other fitness programmes it means I can do something for Barnsley mums and their babies.
